Jim Lauterbach, brings over 30 years of engineering leadership in biologics and pharmaceutical manufacturing. A U.S. Navy veteran who served as a Gas Turbine Electronics Technician, Jim went on to earn an Associate’s Degree in Electronics Technology from Kankakee Community College and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Olivet University. A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, he has led large-scale initiatives, capital expansions, and plant automation projects while mentoring high-performing teams and driving measurable productivity and cost savings. Based in the Central U.S., Jim is passionate about collaboration, delivering innovative, transformative solutions for clients, and advancing Excel’s tradition of engineering excellence throughout the region.
